Touch up Tuesdays: Baby vs. Sock Monkey Hat

Hello! I'd LOVE to welcome all of you lovely Touch Up Tuesday people to the 3rd Touch Up Tuesday at Paper Heart Camera! I hope you enjoy this photography community. It's brand spankin' new! So, any input is very welcome. Thanks.... Now on to Touch Up Tuesday!

Before:

For this edit I adjust the levels, curves, and added a blue solid color to the photo. The solid color gives it a hazy look. Then, I ran my Sharpen action. Then, I used the clone tool at 100% opacity to cover up the black spot on the right. It was too distracting for me.

After:

So, this next photo had a lot of shadow. After running the action, it was even darker. So, I flattened the image, set the lasso tool to 120px and selected the shadow areas. I brightened up the section with curves.

If you guys are interested in this action: I'll try and get this action up for you guys in a couple of days. Let me know if you're interested! It's been a lot of trial and error trying to figure out how to create actions for other people. I've been having fun with it though!

Let's see your edits!

Photography love...

  11. So, I think the hat I won (above) was made by a family member of Shawtae's. But, you guys can check out this shop for one similar: http://www.etsy.com/listing/57088791/custom-crochet-gray-sock-monkey-hat-with
